I was born in Venezuela in 1965 and began my art studies at the School of Fine Arts Arturo Michelena, Valencia, in 1970. This school, with French artistic influences, was groundbreaking in rejecting the paradigms imposed by other art schools. I participated in some collective exhibitions but felt they were inadequate for my development as an artist. I keep experimenting with painting and photography. Always feeling a deep connection with the planet, nature and plants, I went to a Jesuit agricultural technical school since1980, where the many research-based projects provided ample opportunities for entomological photoshoots and very interesting years of living and traveling the world. I settle for some time in Egypt and Israel, painting and enjoying the daily life of the Middle East, As a photographer, I had the great pleasure to covered various events of the United Nations in Venezuela (ANUV) during the initial implementation of the UN Global Business Pact. In those days I was able to promote a proactive project which considers the processes that accelerate personal development whilst respecting the multiplicity of religious, spiritual and philosophical beliefs, entitled: Intraterrestrial Artistic Movement. This educational idea to help fulfill the UN Agenda in Venezuela later became known on their web page as Space Artists of Peace. That milestone set my starting point of creating and keep developing transcendental art to promote new scientific and spiritual plans for the planet. I wrote for the United Nations Association of Venezuela the following track, which is the skeleton for this powerful artistic musculature: Art, as a screen that receives and recycles the deepest so-called constants of the mind, allows us to acquire wisdom from itself and is, since ancient times, the source of communication with greater possibilities of abstraction among the human species. It is our safest vehicle to outer space. the spirit of my paintings began in Venezuela and continues in the UK.
