About Artist:
A mother of 5, lifelong artist, painter and master of all things cementous, through a process of trial and error I have developed a technique of "painting with concrete." My pieces are constructed of roughly 1/2" solid fiber reinforced colored concrete. I love concrete, it is a unique medium allowing people to touch and interact with the pieces without fear of damaging them and the bright colors fantastic textures begged to be touched! Passion for Art, Color and Concrete!
About Artwork:
A photograph sent to my by my daughter while on a study abroad trip to the University at Bath UK. I like the way that the moon and the night sky is translated into the image by the concrete and I continue to play with this theme. The stones of Stonehenge seemed a natural subject for concrete.
