About Artist:
As an architectural, commercial, and fine art photographer, I transferred my feelings and experience in three dimensions into a two-dimensional image. This sculptural art form begins with a two-dimensional piece of metal and is transformed into a three-dimensional representation of my thoughts on nature.
An experienced multimedia artist, I bring to my work an understanding of space, design, and composition, derived from years of photography experience while working with architects, construction companies, interior designers, and realtors.
Each sculptural creation reflects a mixture of science and art through the exploration of material, process, functionality and sensuality.
It is a pleasure and an exciting challenge to design a sculpture for a client's specific space and environment, and to convey an owners spiritual wishes in this special art form.

Composed of unfinished naval brass, each sun is hand cut and formed, becoming alive through it's unique, delicately textured stone-hammered, etched finish, which gains a patina as it ages.
This, stone-ground sculpture, delivers sunshine with a cat-like smile and a feeling of spiritual wisdom as it pulls the viewer on sensual and emotional levels.
As the viewer moves, the light and the viewing angle change the sun's expression.
The sun's eyes follow the viewer while the optical depth transforms the sun’s mystical smile.
