Lisa Lebofsky travels widely to remote, endangered areas, including Antarctica, Greenland, and the Maldives to find locations for her paintings of icebergs, seashores, and decimated forests.
At the remote locations for her paintings she meets with local residents to discuss the impact on their community.
Her paintings are on surfaces that remain visible through various layers of paint, permeating the entire image.
From 2020 to the present paintings by Lisa Lebofsky have been exhibited in dozens of solo exhibitions and group shows in the US and Canada
