Lope Max Díaz is an artist from Puerto Rico, living in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he also has his studio. He exhibits his paintings with regularity throughout the southeast region of the country, as well as in Puerto Rico. He has a BA in fine arts from the University of Puerto Rico, and an MA in art education from Hunter College, CUNY, in NYC.
About Artwork:
Rendija na'ma is a series of eight paintings (I - VIII) that spring from the concept of a flower vase, full of water, and a flower. Sometimes what's behind my paintings blossoms through to its frontside. It's an acrylic painting on tempered hardboard and canvas; it has an aluminum black floating frame.
