Roland Fischer occupies an important position in the art of the late 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. From 1980 he was the first to experiment with large-format portraits of young German photographers, giving photography a new image. His subjects are man and the places of his existence. Today, the artist Roland Fischer is deeply anchored in our global world. His studios in Munich and Beijing, but also his galleries in the USA and Europe illustrate this.
