About Artist:

Skepa was born in 1978 (France). He joined the local IDK crew in the early 1990s. Skepa was a prolific street artist, mainly covering transport wagons and city walls with graffiti and throw-up art. Due to legal issues, the IDK crew ended in 1997. Skepa then decided, with other activists, to create the TBS group (The Brutal Style). In 2003, he opened the Wall gallery with Onie and two other painters. Skepa is still a prolific artist using the same tools and graffiti energy he brought to his urban productions.

Skepa's style is at a crossroad of abstract - urban - street - pop and graffiti art.

Oil and mixed media on linen canvas mounted on wooden adjustable stretcher - edges are painted and it can be hung without a frame. Comes without a frame.

It is a large format but manageable to fit any room. There are lots of unexpected details.

I acquired it in January 2020 from the artist himself.
