About Artist:
Deborah is a professional artist mainly self taught after initial lessons with her grandfather. She lives in Corsham, Wiltshire and works from home. There is some of her work with HM The Queen. Her work comprises pencil and graphite drawings, oil paintings, pastels and watercolours.
Deborah recently met Jerry Saltz, the Pulitizer prize winner in Criticism, at the Outsider Art Fair 2019 in New York. He has not only bought artworks from her but has praised and championed her work for a number of years on social media.
About Artwork:
Titus was inspired by the real Titus the Gorilla King and from Guy at London Zoo. The gorilla seen at London Zoo always comes to mind when this and other gorilla artwork has been done. Wildlife is a particular favourite for Deborah who believes you have to get the eyes right to make the painting real. This is a really popular painting, however all reasonable offers for this artwork will be considered.
