Kyle Wilkerson is a North Georgia based metal sculpture artist who in less than a year has gone from your ‘average joe’ to an up-and-coming artist in the metal smithing community. He is largely self-taught and is making leaps and bounds with his skills on every new project he undertakes. The most recent of these projects is Project Harmony. The idea for Harmony came to Wilkerson while he was visiting a Buddhist temple to prepare for his first ever TV appearance. He entered a flow state during meditation and was able to connect with the environment around him in ways that he had never experienced before. He was struck by the need to create a piece of art that represented the balance in our lives and how we must all maintain it to achieve perfect happiness. This project was forged from the depths of Wilkersons sorrow and a splash of life was added by a collaborating painter by the name of Casidy Byrum, Byrum is studying for her Bachelors in Art History and was completely responsible for every aspect of painting including adding a clear coat to ensure this piece is not only beautiful but stays beautiful
