About Artist:

I am self-taught painter. I began to paint as a stress relief from my PhD program. What you see is the result of learning by trial and error and lots of practice over the last four years. I grew up in rural upstate New York, have lived in Boston and Philadelphia. I grew up vacationing in southern Maine and now frequently visit family there. Much of my artwork is inspired by these places that are so much a part of my life and personal history.
