About Artist:
Claude Weisbuch, ?(1927-2014) was a French artist whose iconic style of sketching lines and muted colors references the drawings of old master artists, but for the contemporary eye.
Using only black and white and a few earth tones, Claude Weisbuch emphasized movement and form through line weight and tone. He studied at the Beaux-arts de Nancy and had his first solo exhibition in 1957 in France, and went on to show in the United States and Japan.

Claude Weisbuch?s artworks ?are in the collections of ?institutions including the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, The Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Staaliche Graphische Sammlung in Munich.
