SEAN FRED MAFIGIRI- FIGY
Born in East Africa, ?Kampala - Uganda, Mafigiri Fred (Figy) is a graduate of Makerere University where he did a Bachelors Degree in Industrial and Fine Arts. He had always loved drawing ever since he was a child that over the years his talent has developed vastly through impressionism and realism. He says Art is everything? and must be shared.
Being Free-spirited, he loves painting in a dripping and splattering style which shows a lot of Action and movement in his works i.e; acrylics on canvas (realistic and abstract contemporal art, water color painting, wall branding, screen printing, t-shirt and bag labels, caps.
He is inspired by his love for wildlife, Cultural Values, people?s facial moods, and movement. The artist has exhibited jointly before at Makerere University Gallery, Uganda German Cultural Society (UGCS), Ikara Art Studio, Sheraton Uganda, Umoja art gallery(Uganda), Banana hill contemporary art gallery(Kenya), Bonzo art gallery(Kenya), Inema Art Center (Rwanda), Yego Art Studio (Rwanda), Niyo Art Gallery (Rwanda), Nevada (Reno) and St. Louis USA.
