About Artist:
I'm a self taught artist from Co.Roscommon in the north-west of Ireland. I've been painting on and off for the last eight years. I grew up in Co.Roscommon which is a very rural, unspoilt county, with beautiful, diverse landscapes. I returned to my home county around ten years ago and soon after that I began painting again. I've always had a great love for my natural surroundings especially the unique, wild landscape and it's wildlife. I get great inspiration from the ever changing colours of rural Roscommon from season to season. I also enjoy exploring art of various styles and cultures and using them as inspiration for creating more experimental, abstract work.
