That old dragon that you bury in the depths, thinking him slain by your bright & valiant warrior... all the darkness, all the anger, all the jealousy, all the hateful pride. All the time he lies there, not dead but dreaming, biding his time, & just when you believe he'll never influence you again he comes roaring up from the depths, regenerating his skeletal form before your very (mind's) eyes, his lashing tentacles clawing & tearing at the boundaries you thought you'd raised to be so firm. Yet could you push those boundaries out & away from your comfort zone without him?
