About Artist:
A self-taught artist, Alfonso Caporaso works in a multitude of media and materials. He is motivated by expressing a sentence or point of view in a succession of sequences all geometrically ordained and inspired by the works of Paolo Scheggi and Lucio Del Pezzo. Originally from Naples, Caporaso left Italy in his early twenties and headed to Great Britain, working for many years as a master craftsman. He now concentrates on producing his distinctive and highly collectable artworks from his studio on the Isle of Wight.

The inspiration for 'White on Mauve' was born out of a desire to express a sentence or point of view in a succession of sequences all geometrically ordained.
