About Artist:
Allyssa Banks is an enthusiastic artist with aspirations in contemporary abstract and non-figurative fine art; in particular, cubism, geometric and surrealism. She is highly interested in manipulating light sources and shades, straight dissecting lines and geometric variations. Often, her works, mostly created digitally, are highlighted by peculiar structures, vibrant colors and multidimensional views, plus a dash of fantasy and aesthetic sentiment.
About Artwork:
Hot Cave conveys a sense of danger in cave exploration, yet undeterred and be attracted by the power and beauty of the natural formation of a deep steep cave.
It is interesting to note that four light sources were applied to highlight the unimaginable risk of walking through the very narrow path hanging on the cliff: from the top right corner, the bottom, the top left corner and the little white light.
?
Hot Cave was created cohesively in one go, not by overlapping digital layers or applying transparency.
