  • Clarinete de Mar artwork by Anushree Krementz - art listed for sale on Artplode

About Artist:

I'm a self-taught German artist, who lives in Andalusia, Spain.

I have lived several years in India, which impacted a lot the way I see the world and understand life. After discovering music for myself and diving deeply into silence, which for me is the essence from which everything arises from, I had my artistic calling in 2007.

Music, sounds, frequencies in all their forms and spirituality, the inner search of "who am I?" and the dual relationship between the everything and the nothingness inspire my artwork. I would love to touch people's hearts and inspire them to have a closer look beyond the perception of what we usually call reality.

About Artwork:

This painting is part of my series instruments.

In these paintings I want to describe the sounds, frequencies and vibrations of different instruments.
I try to make the timbre and the rhythm of a specific instrument visible through the colours I use and through the waves that it emits. I intend to do that by painting the instrument and materializing at the same time all around it the sound waves in order to describe the frequencies and vibrations, which normally would stay invisible for the human eye.

In this painting I want to make the sound, frequency and rthythm of a clarinet visible through the colors I’ve used and the waves that you can see coming out of the instrument. In the series instruments there are always 2 paintings which can be looked at together, with one being the realistic instrument and the other with the inverted colours being the surrealistic instrument. The partner of the “Clarinete de Mar” (Clarinet of the Sea) is “la guitarra viajera” (the traveller Guitar).
