Brand new. Painted in 2016 and put up for sale 4/17/16
this work has never been shown. I was inspired to paint this piece while I was clearing out my old desk at my parent's home. I came across my old highschool biology book and flipped through it nostalgically and was suddenly struck by pictures of the different types of cells and their complex functions . I was once again amazed that such a microscopic thing like a cell is what creates the beauty we see around us today. Plants, flowers, animals coming to life in the spring all starting as a microscopic cell.
