Multi-cultural and polyglot artist, Passion for creating unique paintings drives my inspiration. I have an eclectic professional and personal background and that is what you see in my paintings: my sense of humor plastered all over my paintings, and no conventional rules. I am a self-taught artist. I have learned long time ago to trust the teacher within and go to my inner world to fetch ideas for painting.
I love doing commissioned artwork... this gift of being able to interpret someone else's mind and image and turn it into art with my own flavor. Then, see the beautiful expression of the new owner of the painting... In essence, that painting has a piece of my soul.
About Artwork:
I was inspired by the movie The Monuments Men portraying the rescue of the Madonna of Bruges during World War II. The champagne bottles surrounding the Madonna have the names of the famous men who were involved in the operation to rescue this statue. The two horizontal bottles represented the two men who lost their lives during the rescue mission.
