Landscapes have always been, the most interesting subject matter to me. ?It gives me that much more of a reason, to leave my computer work station, and go out there and hike. ?It is something that never gets old, and is always enjoyable - if I encounter compositions worth recording, than that is just ' icing on the cake '.

In the very short spring, of the San Francisco Bay Area, earlier this year, I went on a hike in the later afternoon, and on the return trip back to my car, as I was walking past this last ridge, the sun was creating both dramatic back light, and fantastic shadow patterns across the lush green grass.? Late afternoon cloud cover was starting to come in as well, providing even more dramatic in the sky.? The scene had such wonderful color, and the resulting image provides such a compelling sense of place.? This work is certainly one of my favorites, of the more recent landscapes that I have created this year.? This work ships unmated and unframed, via UPS or USPS. Presented in pristine condition.
