About Artist:
Daniel Reiser went to Rhode Island School of Design and has been involved with the Contemporary Art World for many years. Showing at the John Gibson Gallery in NYC, he is in the Collection of artist books at the Museum of Modern Art. He has worked with artist such as( James Carpenter, Dennis Oppenheim, Mathew Barney and Kiki Smith.
About Artwork:
I was awarded a grant to produced the work. I was inspired by Andy Warhols silkscreen works, which is why this method of printing was chosen. The Work is presented in a filmatic sequence and can be arranged in different configurations but remain as one piece. I was also inspired by films on the subject and popular culture. Ufo and abduction facintated me in a broader context and its connection to Psychology.
Process:
Using photo-stencils in screen-printing, Warhol uses photographic images for his screenprints. The screen is prepared using a photographic process, and then different color inks are printed using a rubber squeegee to press the paint onto the painting through the screen.

The condition of each edition is excellent! 6 prints that make up the one art work. The Paper edition has never been shown. One special work of the editon was printed on three aluminum sheets was curated by shown at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. 2001 "Digital Now"
THe curator Marilyn Kushener, BMA Curator of Prints and Drawings , has orgainzed the Digital: Printmaking Now.
Teh exhibiton inclued works my many extalished artis, John Baldessari, Chuck Close, Jim Dine, Ann Hamilton Nam June Paik Robert Rauschenber, Kiki Smith and James Turrell.
