About Artist:
Daniil Gubarev graduated from the St. Petersburgs Academy of Fine Arts, Class of Sculpture.After graduating he worked at the Russian State Museum, like his father before him who was the museum?s curator from 1978 to 82. His work has been exhibited in the St. Petersburg Annual City Art Exibit (3 times), the Museum of? Dostoyevsky and other private galleries around St. Petersburg and Moscow.In 2001 he emigrated to New York, where he worked with many design houses and private collectors to design sculptures, custom furniture and lighting. Most recently his work has been shown in the Craig Olsen Design Studio, and he continues to create one of a kind sculpture commissions for private collectors.
