About Artist:
Francine Turk is a Chicago artist known for her series of graceful nude drawings in antique frames. She creates in studios throughout the United States and Europe.
Much in demand by collectors worldwide, Turk's acclaimed works are housed in private and corporate collections across the globe. Her most well received solo exhibitions include Bad Ass (2011), A Decade of Evolution (2012) and Veritem(2014). Her works have also graced the sets of television series andtheatrical releases.
In 2016 Francine collaborated with the family of Miles Davis on aproject that melded fine art, music, technology and social media.
Francine acted as artist and creative director to a Miles Davis FineArt Tour that travelled from five to seven cities including Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Paris, creating a series of works inspired by the music and overall genius of Miles Davis to be shown alongside the original drawings and paintings he created throughout his lifetime, many of which have never been shown to the public before this tour.
Francine has partnered with many non-profit organizations in theirfundraising efforts including organizations such as local art programs inChicago, the Lookingglass Theatre Company, MusiCares and Grammy Foundation.
