About Artist:
Guy Chemtob (Guigo) was born in Paris France February 16 1957 and raised in Sao Paulo Brazil. Later on he moved to Montreal Quebec Canada and was accepted at the School of Architecture at the University of Montreal in 1976.
Guy was fascinated by modern architecture and was inspired by the style of some of the most famous architects worldwide, just to name a few, Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe and Frank Lloyd Wright. He graduated in 1980 and then pursued a career in architecture where he practiced for over 30 years in Canada, Europe and the United States.
Guy’s creative talent and exceptional passion for detailing opened a new path in his life and began a career in artistic painting. His style of painting he calls Spontaneous Realism. His exceptional capability in creativity and expertise with the juxtaposition of colors and multiple detailing shapes forming creates a unique and individual artistic painting.
