About Artist:
I draw my hand-thoughts while my head-thoughts drift away like a balloon boat on a river of air.
To be entirely honest with you, I don't like talking about my self, it makes me feel egotistical.
About Artwork:
The general mindset of my art is best summed up as thoughts trying desperately to manifest themselves as Real. This is the inspiration behind most of my pieces - thoughts building themselves a body. These are not mere surface thoughts which rely on words to be known, but they are feelings which I cannot quite name.
I would prefer to not give a realm of context to this picture (or any picture I produce, for that matter), as I believe it is best viewed with one's own set of context, lest I skew a specific interpretation. I want each of my pieces to stand on their own merit without me having to hold their hand in the world.
Beyond this, I draw inspiration from an overly simplistic view of architecture, multiple dreamscapes, a personal desire to renunciate words, and above all - an intense urge to simply express myself to the best of my abilities. Perhaps my art is best looked at as if it were a funhouse mirror reflecting concepts.
