Igor Kozlovsky (born 1956 in St. Petersburg, Russia) and Marina Sharapova (born 1960 in St. Petersburg, Russia) are artists who work together as a collaborative art duo Igor & Marina. Currently based in Chicago,[1] they have established their signature style that is an integration of a broad range of academic techniques and entirely free forms of painterly expressionism. Representing mostly human figures, their paintings integrate aspects of the Renaissance and Surrealism, along with specific references to Baroque and Rococo subjects, framed through abstract vocabularies of the twentieth century.
