About Artist:
Jennifer is originally from New Jersey, but grew up in Chicago. She started painting at the age of 10, and comes from a long line of artists, including her mother, grandmother, and great grandfather. She studied formally in high school and college (The Art Institute of Chicago), but is mostly self taught. ?
Jennifer was a Fire Fighter/Paramedic for twenty years prior to her career in art. She is also currently a Registered Nurse, and believes her art work can help people heal. She uses several techniques in contrast, texture, and color to create a highly visual and emotional body of work. She is one of Chicago's next emerging abstract artists, and has sold her work to private collectors and corporate institutions throughout Chicagoland. ?
About Artwork:
I'm inspired by many things. ?I often rely on what I see, hear, touch, imagine, and recall from my dreams. ?My work is reflective of my connection with humans on a spiritual, emotional, and physical level. ?I am heavily influenced by textures and contrast, often originating from earth, space, stone, water, and sky. I hope my art work will touch people on a visceral level, and leave them remembering me as part of the journey in life.?
