About Artwork:
I am continually inspired by the juxtaposition of Earth and human beings occuring now. Beauty and destruction. My work reflects this through contents and design. I seek to capture the simple yet powerful colors of nature through form. color and line. I also utilize debris as a medium and thereby bridge the gap of earth:human with the creation of value from valueless. Trash into Art. I continue to traverse the "liquid edge" (Morehouse, 2011) of the relationship between human beings and Earth through the culitvation of local food. Art sales funding local food. Trash:Art:Food ~~~> Trash to Table. With this I create a curiculum and cutlure around connecting deeply with the human experience. This fundamental compassion empowers my parenting.
