About Artist:
Jiri Kramara
Born in Prague, grew up and studied in the studio of his uncle Jiri Kubicek, painter and graphic.
Baroque, jazz, blues or rock music along with the nature and some human elements has been main inspiration in Jiris paintings.
By doing so many commission works has allowed him to use many other themes like portraits, landscapes or religious compositions united with music created with more poetic backgrounds. Contemporary work is created with classical, jazz and country&blues music.
Not just (Sweet home, Bourbon street or La Scala) has been subtitled to his composition. Timelessness that will be the right word for the music that Jiri is using, even when we are a long time gone, the color, tone and sound will remain.
His favorite baroque composers are of course The Bach?s family, Claudio Monteverdi or Antonio Vivaldi just to mention a few..
From jazz musicians he is using Ch. Parker, M. Davis, Ch.Corea, O.Peterson, J. McLaughlin, Al Di Meola, also J.L. Hooker, B.B. King, E. Clapton etc.
Jiri is also known as the passionate outdoorsman and his love and involvement for the mother nature. (He had built 2 farms 1 in the Rockies and 2nd on the prairies, just to mention some of his many projects besides his paintings). Jiri loves challenges and solving them, so thats why he is not afraid of painting the music, something you cannot see, but must also feel it and understand it.
About Artwork:
The double painting is an original and one of my favorite pieces.
This piece is mostly about big hearted musicians and their influence and inspiriation to other musicians and artists. This double painting has a multiple display (options). You could hang from left to right, right to left, up and down, down and up, or even as individual in two different locations.
This abstract Expressionism was created, believe me, from listening to their music so many times and never stop loving it. BB King, JL Hooker, D. Gilmore, and Eric Clapton, and a few more and of course with mother nature in it.
