Joel is an abstract fantasy painter who works mainly in acrylic and mixed media usually producing multiple canvases that fit together. He hails from Birmingham, Alabama but got his formal training at the Atlanta College of Art in the 1980’s and spent years in New York City as a creative director and artist.
About Artwork:
We are mostly attached to recognizable things and have been for centuries, these paintings require that the imagination takes over and converts the forms, patterns, colors, texture and lines in such a way that takes the viewer deeper into an uncharted cross-purpose that completes itself and will be a remembered imaginative experience for years to come.
