LENNON (1968) The most recognisable drawings by John Lennon are his ‘self portrait’ sketches - with a minimum amount of lines but clearly a caricature of his face. Printed in connection with ‘Lennon’, the musical, this drawing of the nine self portraits was selected to celebrate the Broadway opening because there were nine actors who took on the role of Lennon during various stages of his life.
