In Lightsurge, A male nude is leaning back on an S formation that distinguishes a radiant wavelength. In this masculine sculpture, bronze expresses the substance of light sweeping across a vast cosmic trajectory. One critic expressed, " Here in these remarkable works the sculpture has achieved the inexpressible portrait of light captured in an eternal bronze moment. Lightsurge is a sculptural meditation of the GeologicalCorium which expresses Snowden's central idea that the very substance of humankind, stars, planetary masses and bronze are created of the same interrelated yet differently arranged elements.
