Nelly Gocheva is an award wining Bulgarian artist that works with a wide variety of styles and media.? Her work includes mixed media paintings, graphics, mural paintings and? the restoration of frescos and icons in multiples churches and monasteries in Bulgaria. She has over 20 solo and group exhibitions in Bulgaria, Turkey, Norway and Spain and she is a member on the International Association of Art / IAA.

Nelly?s paintings are inspired by our everyday life and the magic to it, by looking at the world through a different point of view and expressing the joy, power and emotions that comes from within. She likes to mix different techniques in order to achieve richness of the means of expression and provocation of the material.

This particular artwork is inspired by Easter and the beginning of the Holy Week. Palms and different flowers, in both ancient and current times, are signs of goodness, well-being, and victory.
