About Artist:

I have been drawing and painting all my life, as long as I remember myself. I have attended multiple art schools as a child and have received formal education later in Fine Arts and Design at Moscow State University of Design and Technology. I love to paint in oil, a medium that reserves so many possibilities, the fact that made me addicted to it. 

About Artwork:

"Tree series" with their focus on roots may on a metaphorical level relate to our human nature in a way. What we humans and nature around us are made of, and where our roots are. Is it a primordial tree with forbidden fruits? Or is it just a common peach tree? These are some of the thoughts that may come to mind while reflecting on a play of brush strokes and colours of the painting.
