About Artist:
I been drawing and painting all my life, as long as I remember myself. I have attended multiple art schools as a child and have received formal education later in Fine Arts and Design at Moscow State University of Design and Technology. I love to paint in oil, a medium that reserves so many possibilities, the fact that made me addicted to it.
About Artwork:
"Tree series" with a focus on roots may on a metaphorical level relate to our human nature in a way. What we humans and nature around us are made of, and where our roots are. Precious roots, precious trees... These are some of the thoughts that may come to mind while reflecting on a play of brush strokes and colour shimmer of the painting.
