About Artist:
A young, British Indian?self-taught fine artist. Currently residing and working in the UK's bustling grey cities, I look towards a simple and quiet life with a pencil in hand.??
For the last 7 years I have rather quietly commissioned photorealistic pencil portraits to meet the requirements of a range of customers.?I have also?worked closely with a number of charities to produce imaginative, unique artwork to help garner support for their represective campaigns and causes. My passions lie both in the expression of art and in community work; having worked for 11 human rights and community-focused charities over these years, I have?aimed to reconcile my artistic pursuits with the social work and messages meaningful to me.
Art returned to the forefront of my life in 2017. During a period of real depression, artistic expression reintroduced itelf as a source of real joy and escapism. I love to create, to patiently detail, and to watch subjects come to life through my graphite and charcoal work. I love to capture the truth of human moments and of our experience on this earth?through candid subject drawings, and I aim to represent underrepresented people in my work.
I am fortunate to have been able?to work towards turning my open commissions into a small business, working part-time from a small studio?in my home.??

About Artwork:
This photorealistic drawing captures a quiet and natural, uncontrived moment between two innocent beings. I used a royalty-free photo of the subjects as my reference point, drawing with attention to detail and a and minimalist, simplistic touch that?adds to the sense of tranquility in this scene.
Drawn in 2018 on fine-grain artist's paper with an ivory tinge, this work is sealed with a fixative spray to prevent smudging and dusting. There are minimal signs of wear on the paper as the artist's graphite has moved naturally across the page whilst the subjects were being drawn. Work can be shipped internationally from the UK.
