About Artist:
?Patricio Ochoa is an Ecuadorian plastic artist with more than 32 years of experience. Hi has had exhibitions in his native country as well in galleries across the world.?
About Artwork:
At my son?s house I lived the expectation of seeing the sun eclipse but on the precise day the city was cloudy, even though every day of my stay the sky was spectacularly clear. Speculating on what it would be like to see an eclipse from a place outside earth, I came to the conclusion that there would be no such eclipse, just a simple alignment of the sun, moon and earth, that would not be noticeable if the observation point is not the right one; in conclusion the celestial bodies are where they should be within their cosmic dynamics. It was when I began to play with my imagination and I invented my own story between planet Earth, its satellite and its star, far from the scientific rigor and in wings of the fantasy was born this work that today I present to you.
