About Artist:
About the Artist: Peter Lik has spent over 35 years pushing the boundaries of fine art. A self-taught pioneer in the field of landscape photography, he has become synonymous with pristine images of cascading waterfalls, ethereal mountain peaks and peaceful desert canyons.
From the Artist: "I was completely overwhelmed with the feeling of history and spirituality I discovered in the canyon lands. I sat for hours and absorbed the atmosphere before the time was right for me to translate my experience to film. I was totally alone in this vast heartland, but I felt surrounded by the spirit of ancient Indian gatherings which had occurred in this most sacred of places. I could feel the presence of the land and was humbled by its power. "
