Growing up in Posillipo he was influenced by the School of Posillipo and honed his artistic skills under the tutelage of Alfredo Alario. Raimondo has lived for extended periods in Rome, France, Florence and the United States.
Raimondo paints predominately with acrylics and has developed a mastery of this medium few artists can match. His work has been shown at the Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport, Connecticut; The International Arts Center at Auckland, New Zealand; and Gallery Masini, Florence Italy.
