Ricardo Oliveira Lemos is from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil; He was born on September 23rd, 1976 and he graduated in Plastic Arts in 2001 from the UNIVERSITY OF THE STATE OF MINAS GERAIS - ESCOLA GUIGNARD; (UEMG ).
He has done several additional courses in the Artistic area and received some awards for his work. The most recent recognition of his production was the choice of two of his works for the VINEYARD VISUAL ARTS HALL (SALÃO DE ARTES VISUAIS DE VINHEDO )- SÃO PAULO in 2017.
About Artwork:
Ricardo Lemos owns a pioneering technique in the Plastic Arts; he is the creator of OXI-ART, it is a technique in which color is obtained through acid-on-metal reaction; there is no use of paints in his work.
In his work, About (Merciful Jesus - 2017), in this work, he invites the viewer to enter the MERCY OF GOD through the Person of Jesus Christ.
The intense colors blend together creating a Sacred and Supernatural atmosphere in his ART.
