About Artist:
Valerie Vescovi was born in Somerville,NJ, grew up in Miami, FL and now resides in Boca Raton, FL.
Exhibited a natural talent for art and has been mainly painting in oils and acrylics for many decades. An autodidact mostly, she spent her life working in different styles that always remain her own.
She has evolved a neo-cubist style to express her individualized interpretation of the life around her. Her abstractions of musicians and dancers could be referred to as ‘Rhythmic Cubism’.
Images with a palette that ranges from raw earth tone harmonies to luscious crimson to cerulean blues and deep ultramarine. High contrast and the dynamic use of line add to the power of her work.

I like working large and have to tack the canvas on my wall.
This is from my large abstract series also Music series. They are ongoing since I love painting them so much, they make me happy!
This one is very colorful with many of my characters that are loosely based on various people that have crossed my path over the years at parties, nightclubs, dance studios, etc. Who would have thought hanging out in the smokey nightclubs in Miami, FL in my youth would inspire my work even to this day.
The main colors are cobalt blue, my all time fave, and marigold yellow which is so popular right now and I've become obsessed with it LOL.
It is acrylic on loose canvas, it will be shipped in a tube and the buyer will have it stretched. Most frame shops do this and they should provide other options too. Signed front and back
