About Artist:

My name is Viktoriia Dmytriv and I'm a 24 year old artist from Ukraine. After completing my studies at the Lviv National Academy of Arts (Department of the Monumental Painting) in 2019, I started on my own in the world of art. The main style I work with is abstract. Now Im at the point of constantly experimenting with my art. My latest object of inspiration became Japanese art and the art behind kanji & hieroglyphs.

Performative aspects of art creation are at the core of my craft as an artist. Preferring to work on large scale pieces, the preparation stage is often the most vital one during my process. Neat line work and formal composition are most important to me in my projects. The prevalent color throughout my works is black. Operating in a such a focused scope requires maximal variation of image portrayal on my part. Because I mainly create abstract expressionism pieces, the spectator's receptive & emotional responses are considered foremost in my art.
