About Artist:
Wladimir Griniw, ukrainian artist, was born on February 16, 1964 in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia,
study of technical design at Sikorsky University in Kiev in 1981/87, study of media design at Taras Shevchenko University in Kiev in 1987/93. The first works of art date back to 2000. From relatively small realistic portraits of his wife and four daughters, he quickly moved to symbolic in content and large in format works, the largest of which reached 10 meters long and 2 meters high.
Trees, animals and people coexist peacefully on his canvases.
When there is a revolution (the revolution of Dignity in Ukraine) and a war (the War for Independence of Ukraine), the artist cannot be silent. The plot, style, and palette change.
A special place is reserved for the woman ? the beloved wife, mother of children, great mother of humankind, goddess of the people.
Furthermore, Wladimir Griniw is the inventor of the Heliocentric Perspective in painting.
